Cold rolled carbon steel coil
It is a coil material made from carbon structural steel through cold rolling process, and is the basic raw material for steel processing.
1. The surface is smooth and flat, with high dimensional accuracy (thickness tolerance ± 0.02mm);
2. Good plasticity, easy to stamping, bending and other deep processing;
3. Thin thickness (0.2-3.0mm), slightly higher strength than hot-rolled coils;
4. Annealing treatment is required to eliminate internal stress, which is more expensive than hot-rolled coils
Cold rolled carbon steel coils can be further subdivided according to annealing processes to meet different processing requirements:
Annealing roll (annealed state): Excellent plasticity, suitable for complex stamping (such as automotive coverings, household appliance shells).
Non annealed roll (hard state): high strength, poor plasticity, suitable for simple bending (such as shelves, brackets).
Application of Cold Rolled Carbon Steel Coil
Automotive industry: Deep drawn cold-rolled coil (08Al) is used for automotive coverings (doors, engine hood) and frame lining.
Home appliance manufacturing: Annealed cold-rolled coils are used for refrigerator casings, washing machine barrels, and air conditioning panels.
Hardware products: making filing cabinets, metal toys, stamped parts, and hardware accessories.
